Allah, most Gracious,most high says about spouses in Quran:Among His signs is [the fact] that He has created spouses for you among yourselves so that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has planted love & mercy between you; In that are signs for people who reflect.Qur'an [30 : 21]
Among His proofs is that He created for you spouses from among yourselves, in order to have tranquility and contentment with each other, and He placed in your hearts love and care towards your spouses. In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who think.
